Fly Over the Arctic!

Flying over the Arctic circle is one of the most exciting moments in my life. You will never see what you are seeing anywhere else in the world. The awe, the magnificence, it just feels like you are in a movie set. You feel close to God. You feel like the world matters in a different way. You feel partially enlightened, your burdens set free, your shoulders burdened with a different purpose.

It truly is an amazing feeling.

You can fly over the Arctic with Norwegian Air. Make sure that you are flying over in the day and not in the night - you will see nothing in the night.

What a beauty the Arctic is - a place untouched by men and their technology. A place that allows you to appreciate where you came from, and makes you feel in sync with Nature.

Supertrees, Gardens by the Bay, Singapore

These supertrees are extremely difficult to built. National Geography made a documentary on this before. The vegetation on these supertrees are taken from all over the world. During the day, they act as canopy but during the night, they transform into magical lights display. The architect for this got his inspiration from the eucalyptus trees in an Australian National Park.

One of the supertrees actually act as a chimney for discharge of a nearby fuel generator for the cooling system of the flower dome.

The supertrees here is said to be the only ones in the world.

Singapore, from the top

Singapore, from the 60th storey of a hotel, overlooking the marina bay. This is a business and shopping district of Singapore. This is also a place where the national day parade is carried out.
